Molecular formula: C₂H₆O, Dimethyl Ether (DME),
Properties: Dimethyl Ether is colorless, inactive and non-corrosive gas with slight ether odor. Solubility in 100ml water is 3.700ml of Dimethyl Ether gas.
Uses:
1)used as aerosol: forming fixature, mousse, air fresher, insecticide, spray paint, coating and polish agent, antirust agent, extractant
2)high concentrated Dimethyl Ether is anaesthetic.

4)used as methylating agent to produce pesticide, dye and drug,
5)used as solvent.
